How Can constipation Along With Abdominal Pain Be Treated?
yesterday my left side of my abdomen hurt, as if I was constipated. then today I took a homemade laxative of water, lemon juice and baking soda. I had diarrhea, but my left side still hurts. I ended up with a terrible headache today, ibuprofen has fixed that, side still hurts

It would be best to be seen since the pain is persisting especially if it is severe.
As you correctly stated, abdominal pain can be related to constipation but if you had a bowel movement then this should be corrected if this was the source of the symptoms.
Other causes of left sided abdominal pain are diverticular disease, benign (not cancerous) lesions of the colon, cancer of the colon, muscle pain, in a female- pain related to the ovaries.
